Signs your hormones may be out of balance

 

The hormonal system is complex and has as its main job to send messages around the body. Each hormone has a unique message and when they are all in balance everything will run smoothly. How does the package work?

60-90 minute Initial  health consultation - This  is where we determine your baseline to kickstart your health journey.  We will look in detail at your symptoms and all areas of imbalance. We will also look at your lifestyle and decide together on a plan that best fits your life and routines to ensure the best outcomes for you. This first meeting is your opportunity to ask any questions that you have about your health and any symptoms and gain clarity on how to take the next steps. This is where we also discuss any Functional tests to make our work together more targeted to you.

Two follow up sessions on-line.  During these sessions we will  take a look at what is working, make any necessary adjustments and refresh the aspects of your plan that are the key to you continuing on your journey to a  healthier you. After each session you will get a revised nutrition plan.

Four x check-ins via email or phone, to keep you accountable, on track and motivated.  You can also ask any questions, and we’ll check on your food diary and help you set goals for next action points.  You are never alone on this journey.

What is Nutritional Therapy?

It is strategic nutrition and simple lifestyle changes designed to bring balance to your body. Nutritional Therapy is a complementary medicine in the UK based on scientific evidence. More detailed information is available on the website of the accredited body BANT. Nutritional Therapy is not recommended as a replacement for medical advice. I always refer any clients with ‘red flag’ signs or symptoms to their medical professional. I take a collaborative approach with my clients and often work alongside medical professionals.


Do you see people online?

Yes, consultations can be carried out online by Zoom or Skype.


Do you recommend a lot of expensive supplements?

I take a food first approach. I only recommend a small number of supplements. Supplements only follow a solid foundation with changes to diet and lifestyle first. I can support clients to source supplements in most countries.


Why do you only offer packages - I think I only need 1 consultation?

I find it takes time for clients to make sustainable changes to their diet and lifestyle. Part of my work with clients relates to mindset and behavioural changes. After working with hundreds of clients, I find the best results happen when I work with clients for a minimum of [6] weeks or longer.


Will the changes you suggest work around my family and busy life?

Yes. A 1:1 coaching package meets you as you are. My suggestions include ingredients that are available in the supermarket. Any lifestyle changes will work around your life. I coach you to bring awareness to what your body needs for fuel. You then have the foundational tools for life.


Will the changes you suggest involve cutting out lots of foods?

No. I’m not a fan of dietary approaches which cut out whole food groups like keto, the Atkins diet or sugar-free. I look for what I can add to your diet to ensure your body has what it needs to build a solid foundation of health.

What if I don’t have time to make changes?

The changes I suggest are small and incremental week-by-week. This is why I work with clients for no less than six weeks so these small changes can become habits. The real change often happens in the minds of my clients. This is less of a time commitment as it requires a desire to change behaviour around food and lifestyle. Many of my clients work full time jobs and some have children. Yet, they still see transformational changes. I tailor my approach to you and always meet you where you are at.
